Mary Weiland was married to Scott Weiland, lead singer of 1990s grunge band Stone Temple Pilots. I will never forget their song "Interstate Love Song" for many reasons I will not mention here. Mary Forsberg recently wrote about the time Scott Weiland and the band's own memoir, "Fall to Pieces: The Memoir of Drugs, Rock 'n' Roll, and mental illness." Mary, a former model who divorced, he wrote a book Larkin Warren, a former editor of Esquire.

Seems Scott and Mary lived up to the band name by getting stoned all the time. Both were strung out on heroin. Mary recalls a time they both shot up so much they had to wear long sleeved shirts to hide the needle marks when they attended a Fourth of July party thrown by Leonardo DiCaprio at his Malibu home. I was reminded of a scene from the movie "Waiting to Exhale" when I read what Mary did in March, 2007. Seems she dragged Scott's wardrobe into their driveway and set it on fire.
