Journey band

Journey band
Rumors are circulating that Steve Perry from the famous Journey band may make an appearance on the show. Indeed, when this episode of Glee at minute 20 played Steve Perry's famous "nah nah nah nah" chorus on the Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin' song during a scene where a Glee character discovers his singing voice as a young boy -- from a man who leaves the boy's mother for a blonde girl at the Pick and Save -- searches from young viewers ensued, asking Google "Who sings that song?"
Steve Perry of Journey, Please Come to Glee
Fans of the highly-recognizable, top-favorite voice that grew to a crescendo in the '80s, enhanced by heartfelt lyrics like "He took the midnight train going anywhere..." really miss the original Steve Perry of Journey.
The Steve Perry online website reports that Perry is "happily enjoying his retirement" and gives links to the latest news about the magnificent vocal maestro, including Perry's comments about Michael Jackson's untimely death. And yet. Fans are still waiting with open arms for the voice that can never be replicated by Journey tribute bands.
