Annie Le suspect Lab Technician A lab tech that worked in the same lab with Annie Le, is emerging as a suspect in her murder. ABC News reported that the lab tech failed the polygraph test on Saturday, and has scratches on his chest. USA Today reported that the lab tech (who is involved in animal testing) stopped the polygraph test in the middle and invoked his right to an attorney before he answered any more questions. The police found Annie Le's body in a wall on Sunday in the basement of the building she entered last Tuesday.
The local police have denied that they have a suspect, but did state that no other students were involved and that no one else is in danger. Because a key card is needed to access the building and the lab in the basement, there are only a handful of people who had access. Officials are expected to release the cause of Annie Le’s death after 3 pm today, the Associated Press reported.
