Plano Balloon Festival 2009 Hits the Streets Before Taking Today organizers of the 2009 EDS Credit Union Plano Balloon Festival launched a mobile outdoor advertising campaign to promote awareness for the upcoming annual event on September 18, 19 and 20. Radius Mobile Media was selected to conduct an area-wide awareness campaign leading up to the three day festival on September 18, 19 and 20. Jo Via, Executive Director of the Plano Balloon Festival, said “The Plano Balloon Festival is a wonderful family oriented event and has become the largest annual outdoor event in Collin County.
The mobile billboard campaign features a rich design of vibrant balloon colors and uses special backlighting to emulate the festival’s signature “Balloon Glow” held after sunset. “Effective marketing and promotion of events such as the annual Plano Balloon Festival can often be the difference between a modestly attended event and a stunning success for all the stakeholders. Outdoor advertising is a proven and compelling visual channel to reach and remind attendees well in advance of upcoming events.
The Plano Balloon Festival Inc. is a non-profit 501c3 agency that is dedicated to producing a family oriented, high quality event that offers other local non-profits an opportunity to assist in the operations of the Festival. Our objective is to offer the participating non-profit agencies an opportunity to raise funds and awareness for their programs and services…thus enhancing the quality of life for all of us.
