The very strange season of “Big Brother 11″ took another bizarre turn on Saturday when CBS evicted mouthy houseguest Chima Simone. According to the Associated Press, producers booted Chima from the show for breaking the rules, but did not exactly say why she was ousted. “Chima has been evicted by the producers from the ‘Big Brother’ house for violating the rules,” CBS said in a statement released Saturday.
Chima was last seen on the show conjuring conspiracy theories after her ally, bodybuilder Jessie Godderz, was nominated for eviction Thursday. Jessie was evicted, thanks to Jeff’s use of the “coup d’etat” — a power secretly voted on by viewers that was used to overthrow Chima’s nominations. Chima had been trying to oust Russell. “Looks like me and the producers need to have a little bit of a talk,” she said.
Chima, a resident of West Hollywood, has been verbally combative through much of the season. Last week, she and Walnut Creek’s Russell Kairouz engaged in several nasty face-to-face confrontations with Chima referring to Russell as a “terrorist” and Russell implying that Chima is a racist. In Week 1 of “Big Brother,” Chima was nominated for eviction and CBS censored her live last-plea speech, which several times referenced derogatory terms used by her competitor.
